Why Early Access?

“We aim to create the best possible game, and the most effective approach to achieving that goal is by engaging closely with our community. Cook Fest is an enjoyable game designed for solo or co-op play, and we are committed to crafting it with a strong emphasis on incorporating community feedback. Through the Early Access phase, we can continuously gather valuable feedback, collaborate with players to implement their desired features, and ensure that our players remain at the forefront of every developmental stage.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“For a duration of 6-12 months, though the exact timeframe will be influenced by player feedback and the extent of content we opt to include in the final game, the timeline could potentially be longer or shorter.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more content such as skill system, new recipes, new ingredients and new upgrading system to add more co-op combo possibilities with skills system along with a broader selection of recipes. We also want to add more types of customers, medals and ingredients so you can further strategize your cooking festival spaces with correct decisions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most planned core features of the game have been implemented. Single-player mode is fully functional, Online multiplayer mode are playable via Steam still under development and we working very hard to implement that as soon as possible. There are currently 10 basic ingredients that you can create around 17 different recipes, total 13 different very cute customers & VIPs, and a bunch of table upgrades options, appliances and utilities. For now there is only one themes of maps, we planned to add more themes as the community grow.

Cook Fest features is about 75% complete and content-wise it is about 50% complete.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price remains the same even after the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We currently use Steam forums as our primary ways to talk to our community and will add discord server in the future. Players are welcome to suggest new features and modifications in the "ideas & suggestions". Upcoming changes are openly discussed with the community for early feedback. A closed test-group of players have access to the latest builds of the game and work closely with the dev-team. The test-group evaluates and tests new features and changes before they are released publicly. We will continue to develop this process based on the needs and feedback of the community.”
